today will be reading or covering unit 1 which is about common elements to Microsoft windows applications with an attention to Microsoft office applicants , Microsoft office word 2003, excel 2003 and power point 2003. How to modify the display of tool bars and other on-screen elements. lesson 1, getting started with programs that includes how to start an application program,recognizing screen elements and using menus,using tool bars,how to obtain on line help and recognizing some common problems.

today i will be reading about mainframe computers. They are known for filling up rooms just like the supercomputer. They are basically found in government organizations like telephone companies and airlines. Every time you use a ATM you are accessing a mainframe computer. They control the flow of data to and from computers or terminals.

today i will be covering unit 1 which is recognizing computers. For example the components of a personal computer like internal components like microprocessors
and how they work together. first lesson that i will be covering and learning will be computers all around us which is about how there are different computers and how they are being used like a supercomputer which is the fastest computer available in its time. It was created in 1958 with a lot of technology in its hands during that time. Its purpose was basically for forecasting,nuclear energy and weather.
